Who we are
This website is run by Limeway Wiltshire, 8 Windmill Piece, Chiseldon, Swindon, Wiltshire SN4 0NY. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. What we collect and why
When you contact us
If you send us a message through the contact form, email or phone us, we receive your name, phone number, email address and anything you tell us about your property and project. We use this only to reply to you, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.
We keep enquiry details for up to 2 years if no work goes ahead. If we do work for you, we keep your details and project records for 6 years after the work is finished, for accounts, tax and guarantee purposes.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that messages are sent by a person rather than a bot. Turnstile processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details for this purpose only. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and free of spam.
Website statistics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed and how people found us. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives information such as your approximate location, device and browser. It is only switched on if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Embedded content
Some pages show content from other websites: a Google Map on our contact page and photos from our Instagram account on our Our Work page. These services may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with that content in the same way as if you had visited their website.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists. We only share it with the services that help us run the website and our business: our web host (20i, UK data centres), Google (Analytics and Maps, with your consent where required), Cloudflare (spam protection) and our email provider. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Necessary cookies, which the website needs to work, including one that remembers your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics:
_gaand_ga_*, kept for up to 2 years), only if you accept them. - Third-party cookies set by embedded Google Maps and Instagram content when you view it.
You can change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email contact@limewaywiltshire.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
